OUR MARRIAGE DAY CELEBRATIONS WITH "SAHAYA"

Rajesh and I have successfully completed one year of our marriage on July 25th, 2010. We are happy and I feel lucky to have got Rajesh as husband. In this one year of my marriage, I think I have learnt many lessons in developing good relations between family and family members. I really am not able to understand how this one year passed. As this year passed it left us with some beautiful memories of the days we went to Munnar for our honeymoon, the time we went to Shiridi, the time went to Melbourne for Rajesh's project and enjoyed at the river banks of Yarra. Also I grew a strong relationship with my inlaws and other family members. Finally till today I am very lucky to get such a good family and the husband who pampers and loves me a lot.

Our first marriage day was spent with all our relatives and neighbours. But this special occassion we made it a point that we do some good work which we can keep it in our memories forever. That is the reason why we celebrated it at an orphanage named SAHAYA. Sahaya is a home for 25 kids with their fates without parents. All the kids are around the age of 15 years or below. We along with our family went and donated few groceries. We made our granny give with her hands a biscuit packet for all the kids there. Everyone were sitting in the hall room of a small building which is their house. They were well disciplined and received us well. The eldest of all came and took our details to show it to their "brother".

The interesting person is the "brother". The "brother" is the person who started with this organisation named "Sahaya". His name is Hari Kiran. To our astonishment he is just a student doing his final year engineering at Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Engineering. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet him but we decided to support them the way possible by us. He proved us all that to do something good on earth needs an aim. As it is rightly said "WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY".
